Synopsis

Aamir is a self-made man - a lower middle class boy who has gained a strong footing as a doctor in the social ladder of a foreign land purely on the strength of his hard work. Liberal in his attitude and a firm believer in the "meritocracy" of the social fabric, he sets out to live, love and succeed. Aamir is planning to settle down with a girl from outside his own community who he has met in London. Aamir believes that he and his family have a bright future, as the system is "individual" friendly.

It is this belief that is questioned and sought to be altered the moment he sets foot in this country. That crucial day, all his loves, philosophies, faiths and fears are questioned - he is confronted with an alternate reality that threatens to change his past and his future.
